LTN is expanding its product portfolio to include high-value media processing workflows beyond transmission. As we scale the business to gain more market share, expand the brand to keep ahead of the live video boom, and grow the revenue team to support more acquired properties, we need a superstar product manager to lead product strategy and vision for the glue that connects all these workflows and the network over which they run. Key to this strategy will be the evolution of LTN’s browser-based portal that allows customers and internal operations teams to configure, control, monitor, set alarms, and manage pre-production, production, and post-production workflows, as well as the transport of these flows.
This product role at LTN is absolutely critical to help define a cross business unit vision for our growing portfolio of products and services.
Responsibilities
- Direct strategic vision for LTN’s products and services
- Own and write portal UI/UX product requirements
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders - Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Management Teams across strategic business units
- Create product roadmap and associated timelines in coordination with Development and Engineering Teams
- Determine customers' needs and desires through direct customer feedback and market research as needed
- Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
- Provide source data for product line communications in coordination with Marketing Team
- Facilitate Go-To-Market planning with internal teams
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix corporate environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Skilled verbal communicator
- Keen awareness of media creation workflows
- Comfortable in sales environments acting as a SME
- Bachelor’s degree Required, MBA or equivalent a plus
Preferred Experience
- The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of relevant product management experience
- Experience leading product management efforts for media services or processing for at least two (2) years
- Deep knowledge of media processing workflows
- Strong understanding of UI/UX requirements, especially in the B2B media world
- Familiarity with SaaS business models
- Experience with Business to Business solution management
Application Requirements
Ideally, the candidate is located close to our Columbia, MD headquarters or New York City offices. However, remote candidates will be considered.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25 percent of the time.
