    Position Description

    Manager of College Initiatives is a newly created position in the company, focused around providing our large college installed base with a resource dedicated to them. Colleges typically have a variety of needs in the live video transport area, including talent interviews with news networks, traditional sports delivered to sports networks, entertainment and education events that are primarily viewed on websites and other digital platforms, and the newly emerging are of Esports events on gaming platforms. The Manager of College Initiatives will be the primary interface for LTN with colleges and universities, and conferences and NCAA, and will be responsible for ensuring regular and proactive communications with them, and focused on growing our business with this market segment. The person in this role will also work closely with people in various functions in the company, including marketing, events management, sales, and technical support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as primary contact for all LTN-connected colleges and universities to generate business growth
    • Proactively and regularly communicate with this segment, as well as conferences, and build a close relationship with key customer personnel
    • Using Salesforce.com, build and manage a database of all LTN college installations, including venue locations, key contacts, and current and historical activity
    • Develop creative marketing programs and other outreach to ensure awareness and branding within this segment
    • Work with LTN Sales and Marketing personnel to develop a strategic plan that leverages and promotes the LTN college footprint to our other media customers
    • Work with colleges in a consultative role to help them expand their brand outreach and to better monetize their content
    • Develop an advisory relationship with colleges to help LTN evolve its technology and services where applicable

    Position Description

    In this position you will focus on developing, maintaining and expanding a world class technical monitoring infrastructure for a global network and set of services. This includes high-throughput metrics collection from a globally distributed network of datacenters with thousands of machines and integration of service, system, network and application level metrics and events into an integrated production monitoring, visualization and alerting system. This role is part of LTN’s core engineering and infrastructure team and plays a key role in maintaining existing computer and networking infrastructure at a high level of service and reliability as well as building out new services and automating the management and monitoring of all key services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support a unique multi-datacenter globally highly available service
    • Deploy and optimize a high-throughput metrics collection system for a global network of datacenters and service locations.
    • Provide company wide access to monitoring and metrics via web APIs
    • Manage visualization dashboards and alerting systems to provide actionable and useful data to operations and engineering teams

    Position Description

    The Infrastructure Software Engineer is part of LTN’s core engineering team and plays a key role in developing the tools and software needed to operate servers and networking infrastructure at a high level of service and reliability. You will plan out needed infrastructure and create tools, libraries, and APIs to support data collection, analysis and reporting. Work with internal customers to design and develop usable and effective tools and interfaces for automation and develop tools to improve and optimize internal process workflow to make the entire team more effective.

    Position Description

    In this position you will focus on providing the network expertise and leadership to expand both the scale and capabilities of the LTN core network through automation and well-designed network architectures. You will maintain and expand both the LTN backbone IP network and make those core network resources available to all of the LTN products and services that need reliable and scalable networking. Additionally, you will provide technical research and testing on new network services and capabilities and help develop the automation and monitoring required to manage them at scale. This role involves hands on management of production switches as well as network architecture design and development of automation software at scale of hundreds of switches within a global network.

    This role is part of LTN’s core engineering and infrastructure team and plays a key role in maintaining existing networking infrastructure at a high level of service and reliability as well as building out new capabilities and automating the management and monitoring of the network which supports all of LTN’s production services.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in technical research and development on network related topics to enable continuing innovation and new capability development within the company
    • Communicate with internal development and engineering teams to share knowledge and understand network requirements of product and infrastructure teams
    • Provide analysis, troubleshooting and support to mitigate and resolve network outages or degraded performance.
    • Develop automation software leveraging best-in-class open source as well as proprietary software to manage the configuration and monitoring of a global network of switches and routers.
    • Maintain core switches and routers in backbone datacenter network as well as main company offices.
    • Support integration and test network activities as hardware and services are promoted from development to production
    • Provide technical expertise to LTN's operations team and customer sales-engineering team to assist with customer support and integration
